The Sandy Horse Ride was a piece of history.

When 1cent 10cents or even 25cents could bring a little cowboy or cowgirl a minute of galloping fun and laughter that seemed like eternity.

And will be in memories forever.

We have Sandy horse rides in a variety of colors. Or we can custom paint and airbrush the ride and lettering to your specifications.

 Here are the specifications from an original 1950s Sandy pony brochure

Horse: All welded cast aluminum, beautifully finished in brown and white trim.

Dimensions-

Overall 20” wide, 56” Long and 41” high

Base     20” wide, 36”long and 13” high

Weight: 230 pounds uncrated

Sandy has a genuine leather saddle bridle and martingale (breastplate)

The base is made of handsome sheet metal and plywood, finished in green.

The top is non-slip rubber.

Later years the Sandy Horse base cover was made of fiberglass.
